Our apartments are located at Jurastrasse 23, 25 and 27, 4056 Basel
No. 25 and No. 27 each have a laundry room in the basement. The guests of No. 23 use the laundry room in No. 25. Outside the laundry rooms there are schedules on which you can sign up for washing times. You have the opportunity to do your laundry at any time, 24/7.
Use normal detergent and clean the filters after every wash.
Please do not leave your detergent in the laundry room.
Waste such as household waste, paper, cardboard, metal and bulky items are collected directly from the street.
All other materials such as batteries, PET/plastic bottles, glass and tin/aluminum are taken to the supermarket or to the disposal points.
Household waste: Dispose of household waste in the official blue “Bebbi bags”. We will provide you with the first bag, additional bags are available in supermarkets at the checkout (10 bags of 17 liters each cost CHF 13.00). Collection is on Mondays and Thursdays. Please place the Bebbi-Sack at the roadside in a clearly visible place after 7 p.m. the evening before at the earliest or by 7 a.m. at the latest on the collection day.
Paper and cardboard: Paper and cardboard are collected separately once a month and bundled and placed on the street. Overview of collection dates
Glass, aluminum, tinplate & batteries: Disposal points are listed here. The nearest collection point is at Tellplatz (Tellstrasse 2), approx. 3 minutes’ walk away.
PET and plastic bottles: Dispose of them in the supermarket.
Dräggwägg App: This app provides information about collection dates and recycling stations (available in German and English). Download here.
Textile container: You can hand in your clean clothes and shoes in good condition in the textile container at Güterstrasse 190.

The “Tellplatz” tram stop is 250 meters from the apartments. From there, streetcar lines 15 and 16 run to the city center and the SBB train station (the station is 3 minutes away by streetcar, just under 10 minutes on foot). From the “Bruderholzstrasse” stop, tram line 15 also runs, as well as bus line 36. From the SBB train station, bus line 50 goes to EuroAirport Basel.

There is a bicycle room in building no. 25. Access is from the outside via the stairs.

The apartments in the new-build section (ID 5013, 5014, 5023, 5024, 5033, 5034, 5043, 5044) have a Smart Fan Touch control system. This allows you to operate the radio, blinds, fan, light and intercom system.
Some of the apartments have electronic keys, so-called transponders. If a key no longer works, the battery must be replaced. Here you will find practical instructions on how to change the batteries in the transponders.
Please observe the legally regulated quiet times to ensure respectful coexistence:
When working at home and using household or other mechanical appliances, consideration must be given to roommates and neighbors.
Noisy activities are not permitted from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. and from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. or on Sundays and public holidays.
From 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. night-time quiet applies.
Please report any damage or defects immediately.
Move furniture only after consultation.
IMPORTANT: Ventilate twice a day for 5 minutes to prevent mold growth, especially in the bathroom. Regular ventilation is also good for the indoor climate and your health in winter.
Please do not leave drinks and food out in the open as this may attract flies.
Hanging up wet clothes in the apartment is not permitted.
Air conditioning systems are not permitted in residential buildings in Switzerland. In the heat of summer, open the windows in the morning and keep them closed during the day. Also close the blinds.
Smoking is prohibited in apartments.
All apartments are fully equipped and ready for immediate occupancy. Bed linen and towels are provided and must be washed by the tenant. If you wish, you can increase the cleaning frequency and order a fresh set of bed linen and towels for CHF 50.
We are happy to fulfill concierge requests by arrangement.
Extra beds or baby cribs are available for a fee.
A monthly apartment cleaning service is included in the rental price for contracts with BASELLODGING. Guests with older contracts can of course book this service for an additional charge.

Please clear the floor and surfaces for the apartment cleaning. The housekeeping team will clean the floors, bathrooms, work surfaces in the kitchen and dust.
If you wish, you can increase the cleaning frequency and order a fresh set of bed linen and towels for CHF 50.
The vacuum cleaner is in the closet in your apartment.
Checkout: 12.00 noon
Place the key on the table in the apartment.
Empty fridge and freezer compartment.
Please dispose of all garbage. We charge a fee of CHF 50 if we have to dispose of waste from the apartment.
Do not leave any personal belongings behind (cupboards, drawers, under the bed?).
Close windows and switch off all lights.
In winter, set the heating to level 2.
Leave soap and shower gel dispensers in the apartment. For ecological reasons, we refill them regularly. If you still want to take a dispenser with you, we will charge CHF 20 per dispenser.
